About us
OUR FOUNDATION
Holy Trinity Residential School (HTRS) was founded in 2015 by Mr. Thomas K. Joseph and his family. The school and hostel has always existed to be a support for the indigenous tribes of Tripura. The school’s primary objective is to serve those who are underprivileged and may not have access to a good school nearby. In 2022, a new school building was inaugurated and the school’s name was changed to Living Hope Academy (LHA). We hope that as the years go by, the school will continue to be a source of light, joy and encouragement to this society.
EDUCATION FOR TODAY, HOPE FOR TOMORROW
OUR MISSION
Living Hope Academy is focused on the development of knowledge and skills in our students while also training them to be good citizens. We seek to provide an environment in which every student can realize his/her innate potential. The school strives to provide a safe environment for students, teachers and facilitators without any distinction of race, religion, caste or social status. It is our aim to empower the children of our school to achieve excellence through the provision of a rigorous and challenging academic program that nurtures and expands the skills, talents, and interests of our students.
OUR VISION
Our vision is for our institution to be a beacon of light and hope for the communities in and around Andharcherra. By investing time, energy and resources into the children of our institution, we are confident that they can succeed academically, socially and spiritually. We trust that our students will serve their communities and become future leaders in a variety of fields.
DISCIPLINE & CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Special attention is given to high standards of morality and discipline in the school. Parents and guardians are requested to collaborate with the school authorities by insisting regular attendance and punctuality of their children as well as respectful behavior towards their teachers and peers. Discipline is necessary to ensure students learn good character, morals and hygiene. We hope parents/guardians will extend their full support in this regard.
RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION
Being a Christian Institution, moral science classes are required for all students in Class 1 and higher. These classes deal with morals, values and codes of conduct which are based on Biblical principles. Stories and lessons from the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ are taught to impart education as it relates to character, attitudes and behaviour. Student are expected to strive to implement virtues such as honesty, sincerity, compassion, generosity, love, respect, etc.
