Welcome to the start of a new school year and the opening of the second floor of our school building! We are excited about all the improvements that took place last year and eager to see more changes this year. One of those changes is the promotion of Sir Mausam Debnath to the position of Vice-Principal. Sir Mausam has shown a great deal of commitment through the years and will be taking on further responsibilities to lead and guide Living Hope Academy (LHA).
The motto for this school year is “Education For Today, Hope For Tomorrow” – indeed education is a key component in providing hope for the future. We want each student to study and learn so that as they grow, they will positively impact their families and communities.
Excellence in education is certainly not easy and can be very challenging. However, the fruits it produces is worth the effort required. Pursuing excellence means, we do not settle for a standard that is lower than our best. It also means that we recognize areas of weaknesses and actively take steps to continuously improve. A student only fails when he/she stops trying.
To achieve success, we all have responsibilities that need to be carried out. As school administrators, we have a burden to ensure that every child has an environment where they can grow and learn. As teachers and staff, we have the responsibility to effectively impart knowledge so that students are challenged to think beyond the textbook and become lifelong learners. Parents and guardians are expected to support the efforts of the school in all scholastic endeavors. Lastly as students, you have the responsibility to take your education seriously, to obtain excellent marks, to participate in school activities with enthusiasm and to have a positive attitude.
